Identified
by hardening and discoloration of the toenails?
Why does it occur?
Why does it only affect some toes and not others?
These are great
questions. Nail discoloration and hardening is caused by a fungus that feeds on
the tissue found on the hands and feet. However, under the nail is the best place for
the fungus to build its home (due to a moist warm environment). Here‘s the point. Fungus must stay
moist and warm to survive and thrive. The simple answer to curing toenail fungus is relatively basic. Two
factors play a role in naturally curing toenail fungus.
·
Reduce the oxygen supply to the fungus
·
Make the fungal environment uninhabitable.
Knocking
out toenail fungus is quite simple. Follow some basic recommendations.
1st use a bristle brush and emery board
or stone to gently remove debris and gently scuff the surface of the nail (s). This should be done very lightly 4-5 times
per week. Be gentle and cautious not over damage or over thin the nail.
2nd. Mix equal amounts of the following essential oils: Eucalyptus,
Tea Tree, Vitamin
E Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Castor oil.
Eucalyptus and Tea tree seem to be the most effective when combined. You may choose to use equal
combinations of these 2 oils only.
Heavily Coat the nails with oil mixture
(1-2 drops each nail) at least 2 times per day. Use a bandage to cover. Be
sure to recoat the nail after bathing or any activity that removes the oil from the nail (swimming or the like).
Results (reduced discoloration
and softening of the nail) begin to occur in the first 30 days. Continue treatment 30 days after the nail
fungus is resolved.
